CRAFTING EXPERIENCES

I'm a Game Designer passionate about creating emotionally impactful and mechanically rich gameplay experiences. I specialize in designing systems and mechanics that are tightly integrated with narrative and atmosphere, building worlds where every interaction deepens immersion.

My experience spans both Unreal Engine 5 and Unity, designing everything from core gameplay loops and level layouts to boss encounters, narrative structure, and player progression. Applying those in a wide variety of genres, from Cozy Sims to Action RPGs and Horror games. I’m particularly drawn to projects that explore psychological themes, player agency, and the subtle mechanics that drive tension and storytelling.

I believe the strongest games are those that make players feel something real, and that game design is as much about empathy and pacing as it is about mechanics.

MY EXPERIENCE

Lead Game Designer & Producer

BGNS Studios (Oct 2024 - Present)

At the studio, I design and produce indie games using Unity and Unreal Engine 5. Currently leading game design on Little Sim World, an Early Access title, while managing Live Ops and coordinating a multidisciplinary team.

⭐️ Hands-on Live Ops experience in a live production environment.

⭐️ Constant Game Design iteration based on player feedback.

⭐️ First Sucessful Steam Release.

Game Designer & Producer

BGNS Studios (Jun 2024 - Oct 2024)

Worked on a co-op action RPG set in a fantasy world filled with creatures and portals, where keepers team up to explore dungeons, slaughter enemies, collect treasures, and level up. Initiated a partnership with the developer of the Flexible Combat System, contributing to feature design, improving existing systems, and integrating new technologies into the project.

⭐️ Hands-on experience with the Motion Matching System.

⭐️ Full development with the ALS System.

⭐️ Use of Hitstop, Motion Warping  & Inverse Kinematics.

Junior Game Designer & Associate Producer

BGNS Studios (May 2024 - Oct 2024)

Worked on an action-roguelite endless runner where players collect power-ups, upgrades, and treasures while blasting through waves of enemies. Contributed to the design and development of a tabletop game platform that combines strategic depth with accessible gameplay, featuring unique modes such as Konkan and Okey.

⭐️ Applied the fundamentals of Game Design.

 

⭐️ Received mentorship on the pillars of Game Production.

⭐️ First Project Released on Steam.

Got a scholarship from the VFS Latin America Talent Program and went to Canada to live the dream. After a year of very intense projects, lectures, and tight deadlines, while connecting with incredible people, I graduated with honours and brought home three awards.

Game Designer

Vancouver Film School GD69 2023

First-person action game set in a world overrun by mutant animals. Play as CopperHead, a cowboy mercenary armed with a meat hook that lets you pull yourself and your enemies at high speed while you kick them into propane tanks, nitrogen tanks and meat grinders to slaughter them all.

⭐ Won 𝐁𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 by the VFS Game Design Program in 2023.

⭐ Worked with a team of six amazing students.

⭐ I spearheaded the 𝐆𝐚𝐦𝐞 𝐃𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧, 𝐋𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥 𝐃𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧 & 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐛𝐚𝐭 𝐃𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧.

First person horror experience in which you suddenly wake up in this mysterious house... Explore the place, collect items and solve puzzles to find your way out of this hellish place.

⭐️ Chosen to be one of the examples for future student projects.

⭐️ Experience made in solo development.

⭐️ First time getting some YouTube recognition.

Bound By Flesh

Game Writer / Script Writer

God fell from the sky... dead. Once worshiped, now just flesh soon to rot. The kingdom fell into chaos as panic and disbelief turned to fear.

In desperation, the people began to harvest and consume the flesh of God, discovering it granted unholy powers. A crusade began with the mission to collect as much as possible, as the flesh began to rot and the mutations it caused gave birth to monstrosities.

⭐ Won 𝐁𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐒𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲 by the VFS Game Design Program in 2023.

⭐  Worked alongside two other amazing writers.

⭐ First time working with scripts applying multiple writing structures.

Programmer

Vancouver Film School GD69 2023

Third-person adventure platformer set in a fantasy world in which a malicious Dwarven King stole the famous Moutain Dwarf beer recipe and changed the formula to give anyone who drinks a nasty hangover. You play as Belgren, the only dwarf who hasn't drank the spoiled beer. Fight your foes, save your brothers and stop the king.

⭐ Won 𝐁𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐦 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 by the VFS Game Design Program in 2023.
⭐ Spearheaded Programming & Version Control.

⭐ Learned a bit about Voice Acting and voiced the Dwarfs.

⭐ Learned a bit aboud sound design using FMOD for Music and SFX.

Game Designer

Vancouver Film School GD69 2023

Third-person action platformer set in a fantasy world where an evil wizard casts a spell to resurrect the dead, using them to steal the Grail and control the old dragons. You play as Rinlith, the last descendant of the Grail’s bloodline. Traverse dangerous levels, solve puzzles, and use your dual swords to crush the undead and stop the wizard.

⭐️ Worked on top of a robust premade system.

⭐️ Designed a multiphase Bossfight.

⭐️ Game made in solo development.

Intern Game Designer 

Solo Projects Ltda (Apr 2022 - Sep 2022)

Third-person Action RPG set in a dark fantasy world that was invaded by werewolves that are destroying cities and slaughtering kings along their way. You play as Selina Domnik, the last keeper on the defense line. Use your sword and crossbow to rip your enemies apart, while you upgrade your armor and abilities to face the White Werewolf.

⭐️ 1st Place in the SBGAMES 2023 Arts Trail & Design.
⭐️ Got mentored on the pillars of Game Design and Unity HDRP.

⭐️ First time working professionally as a game designer.

⭐️ First time working on a Third Person & Action RPG game.

Computer Science Graduation

UNIFEI (2019 - 2022)

While studying Computer Science, I joined a game development project called Dev-U, and that’s where my path in game development truly began. I started as just another eager member, but over time, I grew into the role of Area Director and eventually Project President. I worked on several games, learned by doing, and discovered the joy (and the challenges) of turning ideas into something people can play. It was the place where I built the foundations of my career, and fell in love with making games.

⭐️ Led partnerships and visibility for the game development field around the country.
⭐️ Learned more about the process of polishing a game and its importance.

⭐️ Led 35+ fellow students in the process of learning game development and project creation.

⭐️ Got the opportunity to work in collaboration with many Game Designers, Programmers and Artists.

Some of the things I love, in case you want to know me a bit better!

RPGs | I’ve been DMing for many years now, trying multiple TTRPG systems. D&D 5e, Alien, DCC, and Belregard are golden.

Music | A constant companion in my life, the fuel for the soul. I play guitar and love to sing Metal.

Horror | What can I say? I love everything about it, from games to literature and the overall aesthetic.

Video Games | I deeply love it. Since I was three years old with my parents. The PS3 era was the one that left the biggest mark on me, closely followed by the amazing PS2 era. I still remember not sleeping after playing Silent Hill 2 for the first time on a rainy Sunday.
